Yes we can!

Yes we did

Life, and how we get to live it, happens when we decide we are worth it.

That we are worth doing what it takes to invest in ourselves and also surround ourselves with the people, connections, knowledge and know how to achieve our desired goals!

This past month had validated my belief repeatedly.

We have achieved some BIG goals this past month. When I founded Frock Off Inc., I was clear that all net proceeds from book sales would go directly to Because I am a Girl and Little Warriors. I was told the idea was fraught with challenges.

WHY?

1. Because as a new business I would need every penny for cash flow. I call that scarcity mentality. I no more believe that than I believe that taking a vow of poverty means I can serve others.

2. Because some people may not want to support those causes.  That wasn’t a problem since it was me donating the money. They were getting the book in exchange and Frock Off: Living Undisguised is a great book – even if I do say so myself.

3. Because there would not be enough sales to generate any real money. Hmm…interesting. Sounds to me like a case of the lack attacks – a lack of faith. I knew otherwise.

Well to those who said it couldn’t be done, thank you. You were the fuel I needed to make it happen.

This month, due to our commitment and the ongoing books sales and silent auctions we host at events, we were able to commit and join as a THREE YEAR SUPPORTER for Little Warriors.

We have also been able to sponsor another girl in a developing country with Because I am Girl.  Each girl sponsored will be with us for 10 years, at a yearly fee of just under $500.

Thank you to all of you who have and continue to be the change in the world. There are many of you to thank. Thank you to all who donate for the silent auctions at each event, and to all who bid – WOW!

Our goal is to donate 10k a year to each of these foundations. And so we continue to believe and do what needs doing.
